As of April 28, 2020, at 5:49 pm, 925,988 of people in the USA (94% of those infected) have
survived COVID 19. What an amazing blessing! I have been asking myself what if we only
focused on celebrating the survivors. If the Law of Attraction is real then whatever you focus on
expands. Would focusing on success begin to increase the success rate due to increased
hope?
In no way am I suggesting that we not grieve our fallen brothers and sisters, but in focusing on
that loss are we, therefore, expanding it by diminishing hope? Imagine if we were provided a
daily statistic on the mortality rates for heart attacks, cancer, car crashes, or even the flu etc…?
Do you think you would have been more or less afraid to take action and LIVE your life?
Hopelessness and depression are more contagious than COVID 19. According to the National
Institute of Health (February 2019), an estimated 17.3 million adults in the United States had at
least one major depressive episode. This number represented 7.1% of all U.S. adults. There is
no doubt the pandemic and financial crisis is increasing this number daily.
So, what is my point? Perspective is EVERYTHING! You can choose to continue focusing on
the daily grim new reports and view your current situation as a hardship, OR you can view this
current global situation as an opportunity for you and everyone else in this world to make some
very important changes.
It’s not what happens in life that defines you but how you deal with your situations. You have
heard by now the phrase when life gives you lemons turn them into lemonade. This is true today
as it was whenever the first person coined the phrase.
Use the following 3 tips to help you turn adversity into success.

1. Anticipate Success.
Wake up in anticipation of success. Say to yourself, “It’s going to be a great day!” Claim the
blessings that have been promised to you. Even if you are not feeling your best, be grateful for
what is feeling good and working right. Get excited about what you anticipate will happen for
you today.

2. Look for the Opportunities
I’m a natural motivator, and encourager. I have mentored and coached many people over the
years for free. Now it has become my business and career. What are you really good at? How
can you serve others with your gifts and talents AND create a wealthy and abundant life.

3. Learn from your failures.
If you ask any successful person how they got that way, they will most likely tell you it’s due to
overcoming failures. They learned from those failures and tried something different. Each
iteration, they learned something new from their failures. They continued until there were no
failures.
